UI Health Concussion Management Program

About

UI Health's Concussion Management Program brings together clinicians from physical therapy, neurology and neurosurgery, neuropsychology, neuropsychiatry, radiology, and ophthalmology to address the range of symptoms that follow a traumatic brain injury. An initial evaluation typically pairs a physical therapy exam, which screens the ocular, vestibular, neurological, and musculoskeletal systems, with a neuropsychological assessment by a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist on the same day at one site. The team then builds individually tailored, research-informed treatment protocols.
