Gillette Children's Neurotrauma Clinic offers specialty evaluation and outpatient follow-up for children and teens with concussion and related neurotrauma, including assessments designed for infants and toddlers. Nurse practitioners in pediatric rehabilitation and neurosurgery develop care plans and administer ImPACT neurocognitive testing for children age 5 and older. Depending on need, patients may work with specialists in neurology, neuropsychology, neurosurgery, rehabilitation medicine, and physical, occupational, and speech therapy, with inpatient rehabilitation and pediatric intensive care available for severe injuries.
