Excel Physical Therapy's Concussion Specialty Program provides post-concussion physical therapy for symptoms such as headaches, dizziness and balance problems, with the goal of returning patients to work, school and sport. Treatment addresses several systems affected by concussion, including vestibular and balance retraining, oculomotor and vision work, and exertion testing that monitors symptoms as heart rate rises. Return-to-play programming then progresses patients through sport-specific activity before they resume higher-risk sports.
